Role Overview

We are looking for a candidate to join our Back End Development team as a highly skilled HubSpot Back End Lead, reporting to the Head of Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and guide a small team of developers
• Maintain hands-on architectural responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain the architecture of solutions on the HubSpot platform, including data migrations, CRM implementations, custom UI extensions, complex workflows, website development projects and API/systems integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—developers, solution architects, consultants, designers, and project managers—to deliver scalable, innovative solutions
• Guide technical strategy
• Ensure best practices for HubSpot development
• Bridge business requirements with technical execution
• Solve technical business problems
• Scope and cost projects
• Design software solutions
• Guide developers
• Peer review code
• Code yourself

Requirements

• Highly skilled in HubSpot Back End Development
• Experience in a Lead or Senior Developer role
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experience with data migrations, CRM implementations, custom UI extensions, complex workflows, website development, and API/systems integrations
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to bridge business requirements with technical execution
