Backend Developer

The company is an innovative start-up specializing in the development of sustainable solutions at the intersection of blockchain, cleantech, and fintech. In an international team, we are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who is ready to take responsibility and potentially also take on an architect role or a team lead position. Your daily tasks include working in an agile environment where you will develop containerized server applications, especially microservice backends tailored to the respective use case. Currently, technologies such as JavaScript with Nest and Java with Spring are in use. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to train and develop junior developers in the team. Optionally, you can take on a leading role in the development of the solution architecture, where blockchain technology plays a central role. The work environment is characterized by flat hierarchies, open communication, and the opportunity to actively contribute to achieving climate goals. Requirements

The ideal candidate has successfully completed university studies and has experience in backend development, ideally in the area of containerized applications. You should have profound knowledge in the technologies JavaScript, Nest, Java, and Spring. Furthermore, you are able to think analytically and entrepreneurially and possess a structured and solution-oriented way of working. Teamwork and the willingness to take responsibility in an international environment are essential for this position. Experience in developing solutions in the areas of Cleantech, Blockchain, and Fintech is an advantage. We are looking for someone who shows initiative and has the motivation to develop and drive innovative business models.
