Our client is part of a German corporate group that has been offering various services related to mobility for over 50 years. To continue guaranteeing optimal IT systems, we are looking for YOU as a Backend Developer / Backend Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen the IT team at the Stuttgart location (very good public transport connections with S-Bahn / U-Bahn / Bus). Responsibilities

• Contribution to the further development of backend systems
• Active participation in shaping system architecture and development processes
• Collaboration with external service providers within and outside the corporate group
• Ensuring data integrity and security on the systems
• Creation and maintenance of IT documentation (system architecture, processes, user documentation)

Profile

• Studies in the IT field or equivalent training with at least initial professional experience (approx. 2 years, preferably more), especially in development
• Practical experience with Java, especially Spring Boot, at least initial experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Keycloak or Azure, and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Confluent, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, MVP) as well as modern programming paradigms (e.g., OOP) and event-driven development
• Experience with Kotlin or Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Terraform) is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented thinking and working, quality awareness, teamwork, as well as willingness to perform and learn
• Good German and English skills (B2/C1) in spoken and written form
