About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop our core application and its extensions
- Design modern Web APIs, including authentication and encryption
- Ensure unit tests and interface testing are performed
- Ensure high security standards of the Web applications
- Provide good quality documentation using appropriate tools (e.g., Swagger)
- Give support in the implementation of interfaces for other teams
- Close cooperation with external suppliers and other relevant SIG departments
- Ideally support and extend our externally developed web interface
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in C# and Web Development
- Experience in agile software development with Scrum
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Understands how to create intuitive User Frontends (UI) and how to improve User Experience (UX)
- Fluent in English, fluent in German is a plus
- Has an analytic mindset and is able to transfer concepts into code
- Good communication skills and can work as part of a team
- Ideally, more than 2 years of backend experience in NodeJS
- Ideally, experience in using npm for web applications and Git for code versioning
- Experience in the implementation of web applications and a deep understanding in modern IT architecture
