We create digital business and sustainability reports, and really good ones at that. We've been doing this for over 20 years and now have almost 70 nexxarians. Our clients include adidas, Borussia Dortmund, Hugo Boss, Volkswagen, and many others from Europe and the USA. It sounds like an agency, and it is, but different. We are collegial and solution-oriented, with mutual support and a relaxed atmosphere among us.

For our team, we are looking for a Backend Developer.in starting immediately.

What You'll Do

• You will work from the beginning on real features of a productive Java-based content platform – no made-up tasks, no sandbox.
• You will actively shape: APIs, content models, and workflows that are used daily.
• In your role, you will be significantly involved when we replace the last classic delivery layer with a modern Document API.
• You will build this architecture from scratch.
• We work independently in a small core team and are always in communication.
• This means close collaboration with the teams whose problems you solve in everyday life and who use your code.

What You Bring

• You have at least 3 years of continuous programming with Java (from Java 11) and feel at home in the backend.
• Maven, GitLab, and CI/CD are an integral part of your daily work – you know the usual workflows and what you are doing.
• You have practical experience with content platforms (e.g., Bloomreach, Magnolia, etc.), have designed or consumed APIs, and know why cleanly modeled data structures count in the long run.
• You confidently use AI tools, e.g., for writing unit and integration tests.
• German or English language skills at a negotiation level (C1).
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibility.

Nice to Haves

• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS makes our hearts beat faster.
• Experience with GraphQL would be a plus, but not a must.
• Knowledge of Bloomreach XM or JCR would be really great.
