Backend Developer Java Springboot

Deine Aufgaben • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs • Own backend architecture decisions, including data modeling, service boundaries, and integrations • Lead development of core features end-to-end, from design through production rollout • Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, testing, and performance optimization • Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high engineering standards • Participate in technical planning, estimations, and architecture discussions • Identify and proactively address technical debt and scalability risks

Dein Profil • Strong expertise in Java with a deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem; Node.js and Python are a plus • Proven experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA for data access • Solid understanding of event-driven architecture with hands-on experience using AWS messaging services (SNS/SQS) • Demonstrable skills with RDS MySQL and PostgreSQL, including query optimization and performance tuning • Basic knowledge of streaming with Amazon Data Firehose and Kinesis Streams • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs • Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS) and infrastructure as code (Serverless Framework) • Hands-on data engineering experience: building and maintaining pipelines, ETL/ELT processes • Experience using Claude Code for AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows
