Backend Developer (Node.js) — Build Bitcoin Infrastructure in Nigeria

About the Role

BOTMECASH is building a Bitcoin-first financial platform designed to help everyday Nigerians buy sats simply, securely, and in compliance with financial standards.

We are entering a critical execution phase and are looking for a high-performance backend developer to take ownership of our admin and infrastructure systems.

What You’ll Work On

• Build a secure admin dashboard (users, transactions, compliance monitoring)
• Implement fiat → BTC payment flows (virtual accounts, settlement logic)
• Develop real-time settlement systems for instant sats delivery
• Design compliance-first infrastructure (KYC/AML hooks, audit logs)
• Architect a scalable backend system optimized for speed and reliability

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js backend systems
• Experience building APIs and financial systems
• Ability to design secure, scalable architecture
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
• Strong attention to detail, especially around compliance and data integrity

Bonus

• Familiarity with Bitcoin / Lightning Network
• Experience with payments, wallets, or fintech infrastructure
