Backend Developer – Payments / Global Markets

We are looking for an experienced backend developer with Libra exposure for a 7 months contract with expertise in payments or global markets systems to build and support critical banking applications. You will work on high-volume, mission-critical systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and support enterprise banking systems • Work on payments or trading platforms and integrations • Ensure high reliability, performance, and security of applications • Collaborate with business, architecture, and development teams • Troubleshoot, test, and resolve production issues

Required Skills & Experience • Strong backend development skills (Java, C#, or similar) • Experience in payments, trading, or global markets systems • Solid understanding of transaction processing and financial workflows • Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) • Exposure to APIs and system integrations • Experience with internal banking platforms (e.g., Libra) is an advantage

Advantageous Skills • Experience with enterprise banking platforms or core banking systems • Exposure to middleware, microservices, or Agile/DevOps environments

Qualifications • Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
