Backend Engineer – AWS & Java

About

You will build and maintain backend services within an AWS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Create and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda.
• Provide L3 support for backend microservices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Core Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Proven track record with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation and AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Computing principles.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work on-site in McLean, VA.
