Requirements
- A senior backend engineer who is self-motivated and can quickly adapt to new environments
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty and making decisions independently
- Significant experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms (preferably Google Cloud)
- Proficient in Go (knowledge of Python is a plus) and distributed systems
- Familiar with Kubernetes operators, GitOps, and ArgoCD workflows
- Background in developing or maintaining AI-driven automation, agents, or tools for developers
- Practical problem solver with strong communication abilities
- Passionate about empowering fellow engineers and enhancing developer efficiency
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Go-based Kubernetes operators and backend systems
- Enhance the foundational capabilities of Gantry
- Lead and implement migrations to Gantry
- Create, manage, and optimize AI-driven agents that facilitate migrations, assess PRs, and support deployment troubleshooting
- Assist internal teams by resolving deployment challenges and facilitating smooth releases
- Assume operational responsibility for services managed by the team
- Proactively identify and address significant issues within the deployment and migration processes
