To further develop our software and take it to the next technical level, we are looking for you as a Backend Developer with a focus on PHP to further develop our eyevip Core application.

Responsibilities

• (Further) development of eyevip (PHP Core App and Libs)
• Planning and realization of new features and customer projects
• API connections and integration of external systems (Auth, payment providers, CRMs)
• Development of modules and integration into the web frontend (HTML, JS, CSS)
• Contribution to the Vue rewrite of the frontend
• Ensuring stability, scalability, security, and high code quality
• Creation and maintenance of tests and documentation
• Close collaboration with the frontend, design, and product team
• Participation in the product within our agile processes
• Processing of 3rd-level support tickets: Reproducing and understanding errors on customer systems, developing workarounds, bug fixing

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of PHP (OOP, >= 8.0, daemonized PHP)
• Experience in API design (GraphQL is an advantage)
• Familiar with SQL (MySQL / MariaDB)
• Experience in performance optimization and error handling
• Strong quality awareness: clean code, tests, documentation
• Basic understanding of security best practices
• Openness and curiosity to productively and critically use AI tools for developers (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) in your own workflow – practical experience with them is an advantage
• Team player and communicative in German and English
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoy implementing ideas, hands-on mentality
