About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing scalable and high‑performance backend systems that support our innovative SMS marketing platform. Your expertise will contribute to building robust APIs, optimizing database architectures, and integrating AI tools to automate and enhance our development workflows. Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in backend development with a minimum of 4‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks, with a solid understanding of SQL database design and optimization.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS, is essential.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins is highly desirable.
• An interest or experience with AI‑assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable will be considered a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills are critical, especially in a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionalities utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks to ensure scalable and reliable services.
• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries to support application needs efficiently.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS for optimal performance and scalability.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins to streamline development workflows and ensure rapid delivery.
• Utilize AI‑assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and Lovable to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment cycles.
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross‑functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver high‑quality features that align with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and best practices.
