Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Nigeria for a Backend Lead Architect. The Backend Lead Architect will design and implement robust and scalable software architectures, oversee backend development processes, and ensure seamless integrations with third-party systems. Responsibilities include providing architectural direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality solutions to support the company's payment platform and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Architecture, including designing, implementing, and optimizing software and systems architectures
• Proficiency in Software Development with extensive experience in backend development and related technologies
• Expertise in Integration, including connecting APIs and ensuring seamless communication between systems
• Experience with Architectural Design, focusing on high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions
• Demonstrated knowledge in Project Management, including leadership in delivering projects on time and within scope
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to lead and mentor development teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with payment processing systems or the fintech industry is a plus
