Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in backend software development, specifically Java.
• Proficient in building robust backend systems, enhancing architectural design, and implementing testing frameworks.
• Demonstrates a proven track record of problem-solving, able to rapidly understand and dissect complex issues, formulating efficient solutions.
• Shows initiative and confidence, doesn't wait for permission, and takes action to figure things out or find the right resources.
• Has high personal and team performance standards, aiming for excellence in all tasks.
• Communicates clearly and efficiently, articulating technical and non-technical solutions to diverse audiences.
• Reliable and dependable, living up to written and verbal agreements without frequent reminders or pushing, and delivering on promises.
• Brings a sense of fun to the team, doesn't take themselves too seriously, and appreciates the value of an enjoyable work environment.
• Embraces continuous learning and self-improvement, showing a passion for becoming a better engineer and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Comfortable with remote work and has experience working in small, agile teams.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS and migrating systems to this platform would be highly beneficial but is not a strict requirement.
