OpenKyber has an enterprise client seeking a Software Development Engineer II in Seattle, WA.
This role requires an individual with excellent knowledge of service-oriented architecture, data architecture, data analytics, and software development skills. A successful candidate will have the ability to work with technology, research, marketing, finance and business teams. They will have passion for data and analytics, be self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and driven by a desire to innovate on behalf of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end scalable applications with front end systems, back-end services that can support data and analytical pipelines
- Perform data deep dives, analysis, and visualizations needed to support business use cases
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key partners in data engineering, software development, research, modeling and marketing teams
- Develop complex SQL queries and scripts for business logic implementation
- Perform data analysis using scripting and cloud technologies
- Participate in strategy and road map exercises, front end systems, back-end services, data warehouse and implementation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design of data and web solutions
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, science, and engineering
- 2+ years of experience in AWS or similar could technologies
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and full stack development is nice to have
Must have technical skills:
- Product sensing, SOA, data architecture, modeling, and analytics
- SQL, and Programming (Python/Scala)
- AWS Data Services & Platforms
- Fundamental understanding of data science & machine learning
