For a company in the software solutions and communication technology sector, located in the region northwest of Berlin, we are looking for collegial support as a (Senior) Backend Software Developer (m/f/d).

Your Profile

• Qualification: Degree in Computer Science or comparable, alternatively: Apprenticeship as IT Specialist Application Development
• Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience in API/Backend development (PHP, Symfony)
• Knowledge: Software architecture, API design, system integration, git, common development environments
• Languages: Very good German language skills
• Desirable: Experience with functional and integration tests

The mentioned language skills are required to successfully perform the tasks of the position.

Your Tasks as (Senior) Backend Software Developer (m/f/d)

• Development: Further development and maintenance of the laboratory order and results system
• Technical Implementation: Conception, implementation of complex functions (PHP, Symfony, API Platform, Doctrine)
• Code Quality: Clean Code, Design Patterns, Coding Guidelines, Code Reviews, automated tests (PHPStan, Pest)
• System & Performance: Co-design of the system architecture, performance analysis and optimization
• Leadership & Mentoring: Technical guidance and support of team members
• Documentation & Communication: Stakeholder coordination, documentation in the ticket system and knowledge base
