Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Data Analyst - Project Manager (m/f) to join the Laboratory, Materials & Processes department based in Marignane, France.

Our Team
We are in charge of selecting the right standard products (*) for our new and legacy helicopters, delivering essential data, documents and 3D models to the Design Office. This demands adherence to tight deadlines and cost controls, while providing crucial technical support and considering Airbus Helicopters’ industrial constraints and customer support needs.
(*) Examples of standard products: screws, nuts, rivets, electrical components, clamps, metallic and non-metallic raw materials, glues, paints, surface protection, etc.
Our team operates in an agile mode relying on autonomous Squads, with a dedicated backlog and established routines across four sites: Marignane & Le Bourget (France) , Donauwörth (Germany) , and Lodz (Poland) , complemented by external services. At a larger scale, you'll be part of the "Laboratory, Materials & Processes" (LMP) department, a team of around two hundred people developing, qualifying and ensuring production support for all materials and manufacturing processes for our helicopters.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead digitalization & data analytics’ projects, from framing to execution, including change management and mindset evolution for the LMP department and more specifically for the Standardization team. In particular, SMART Standards are our future, you will pave the way.
- Lead data analytics’ activities inside the Standardization team and influence at LMP level: structure data (data architecture definition, data creation, data quality) and unleash the value of our data for our department and at a larger scale.
- Support the exploration of AI and newly developed digital capabilities to promote new solutions
- Connect with all stakeholders across Supply Chain, Industry, Design, Quality, and Engineering, particularly within the LMP department, fostering a "breaking silos" mindset. Benchmark within the company and beyond to propose new initiatives.
- Support implementation & respect of any legal classifications into systems (export control, military, environmental, intellectual property…)
You'll receive sponsorship from the team leader and a dedicated Standardization eXpert. Expect to travel within Europe 4 to 8 times annually (1-3 days per trip) and benefit from teleworking up to 2 days per week.
Skills & Prerequisites
We're looking for candidates with a Bac +5 level diploma (or equivalent) in data science or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of work experience, including project management.
Essential Skills:
- Strong project management mindset and experience (Gates, BRD, ARD…)
- Substantiated programming competences (Python, SQL, data libraries)
- Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Palantir Foundry (Contour, Pipeline Builder, etc.) , Spotfire or similar
- Interest in materials, their manufacturing, and aeronautical applications.
- Curious, analytical, and capable of synthesizing information.
- Proactive, especially in supporting digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong sense of rigor and commitment to compliance with standards.
- Excellent team spirit in a multinational context.
- Knowledge of "Agile" working methods or a keen interest in learning them.
- Mastery of tools like Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, Skywise / Palantir (cloud systems/capabilities) or similar
- Proven communication skills, ability to exchange and convince people.
