About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 support and technical ownership for BeyondTrust Privilege Management (BTPM) across servers and endpoints.
  • Design, implement, and maintain least-privilege access policies for Windows, Linux/Unix, and end-user systems.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex privilege-related incidents and access issues.
  • Support onboarding of applications requiring elevated privileges through policy tuning and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive privilege reduction initiatives while maintaining user productivity.
  • Manage platform changes, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Mentor L1/L2 engineers and collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Endpoint teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with BeyondTrust Privilege Management (BTPM) or similar endpoint privilege management tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows servers and workstations, including administrative controls and policies.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix privilege models, including sudo, PAM, and permissions.
  • Experience managing privilege access across enterprise server and endpoint environments.
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-priority production incidents.
  • Experience working in ITSM and SLA-driven support environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools such as CyberArk EPM.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash.
  • ITIL or security-related certifications.

  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Privilege Management solutions.
  • Owns and drives resolution of complex incidents end-to-end.
  • Contributes to platform stability, security posture, and continuous process improvement.
