A growing international organisation within the financial services sector is seeking a skilled BI Data Analyst to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware analyst who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful reports and dashboards that directly influence business decisions.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping strategy through high-quality reporting, analysis, and data-driven recommendations.

The BI Data Analyst Role:

• Extract, analyse, and interpret data to produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Build dashboards, forecasts, and visualisations using tools such as PowerBI
• Apply statistical techniques and develop analytical models to support business needs
• Respond to ad hoc data requests, delivering clear and actionable insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand and meet reporting requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain databases to support evolving business needs
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, identifying and resolving inconsistencies
• Automate recurring processes to improve efficiency and scalability
• Source and manage new datasets where required

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience working with SQL and PowerBI
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate data problems to non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to engage with stakeholders across different levels and regions
