BI Data Analyst

Location: Quantico, VA – 4 days/week onsite
Clearance: Top Secret clearance required; must be able to obtain CI Poly

Required Skills and Experience

• Active Top Secret (FBI does not accept Interim clearances)
• Ability to operate largely independently, determine tasking and stakeholder engagement based on investigative analysis of business needs and data sources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to apply data science to create actionable stories from user data
• 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence
• 6+ years of professional experience in software development
• 2+ years of professional experience in Power BI, including dashboard design and data visualization
• 2+ years of professional experience with SQL Server and TSQL

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and executive leadership to discover, understand, and define key business factors that help simplify complex leadership decisions
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients, adapting communication style to audience needs
• Communicate ideas and vision for dashboards and analytics to both end‑users and developer teams
• Design, develop, and optimize user‑friendly advanced Power BI dashboards to deliver insights
• Leverage SQL Server and TSQL to access, manipulate, and analyze data
• Collaborate closely with development and database teams
