ProSidian seeks a BI Developer / Data Analyst | Data Management & Business Intelligence – Analytics Consulting & Business Needs Analysis (NSF0133133) to provide services and support as a BI Developer / Data Analyst for Business Analytics Support (HR Technology Ecosystem and Enterprise‑Wide Decision‑Making Capabilities Enhancement) in the Government and Public Services industry sector. The role focuses on Human Capital solutions for clients such as the National Science Foundation (NSF) – Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) / Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The position is located in Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) and across the Mid‑Atlantic Region, working on‑site and off‑site.

Key objectives include:

  • Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation.
  • Enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence.
  • Support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies.

Analytics Consulting & Business Needs Analysis involves systematic analysis of business needs across NSF divisions and directorates, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and translation of those needs into flexible, role‑based analytics solutions (dashboards, reports, data products) for executive, managerial, and operational decision‑making.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build, configure, test, and maintain solution components supporting analytics consulting and business needs analysis.
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, apps, automations, or integrations and document deployment and support procedures.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and process mapping to translate business needs into analytics solutions.
  • Develop dashboards, perform data analysis, support reporting automation, and enable self‑service analytics.
  • Advise on prioritization of analytics initiatives, change management, and user adoption to ensure sustained analytics capabilities.
  • Deliver insights by building dashboards, analyzing data, and presenting findings.

Qualifications
