Responsibilities

• Support and further develop SAP Datasphere as the central consumption layer of the analytics landscape.
• Design, construct, and maintain data models, views, and transformation flows in SAP Datasphere.
• Further develop the Azure Databricks environment, including support for data models and pipelines.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions in close coordination with business departments.
• Manage and coordinate external development partners.
• Ensure data quality, governance standards, and technical documentation across platforms.
• Actively participate in the further development of the BI architecture and data strategy.

Requirements

• Completed degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Data Engineering, or comparable qualification and professional experience in the BI or Data Engineering environment.
• Solid SQL skills.
• Good understanding of data structures and processes.
• Structured and independent working style.
• Quick grasp of new technologies and platforms.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• Team- and service-oriented approach.
• In-depth experience in modern data and analytics platforms, especially in the SAP and Azure environment (optional).
• Know-how in data modeling and building data architectures (optional).
• Familiarity with managing external partners and industry knowledge in the manufacturing sector (optional).
