In the context of our development, we are looking for a Senior Bid Manager (F/H), reporting to the Pre‑Sales Director of the Defence and Public Sector Business Unit. You will join a team of around ten Bid Managers and Solution Managers, supporting clients and prospects on their digital transformation challenges, especially for major public‑sector projects and critical defence systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Direction in the “up‑stream” phases: offer presentation, dossier qualification
• Analyse client needs to ensure proper opportunity qualification and provide decision‑support inputs during bid/nobid reviews
• Apply and adhere to all bid‑management processes and best practices
• Orchestrate all actors involved in the response: finance, technical, legal, procurement, partners, subcontractors
• Depending on offer size, lead the team and/or contribute to proposal writing
• Present and validate the technical and financial proposal internally during ad‑hoc reviews
• Support the offer to the client up to contract signing
• Assist the project during the start‑up phase (knowledge transfer, ensure Thales commitments are met)
• Propose improvements and contribute to the industrialisation of methods and the enhancement of our reference framework

Requirements

• Master’s degree (Bac + 5) with at least 10 years of operational experience in IT services (IT infrastructure build, managed services, cloud)
• Strong knowledge of public/private cloud technologies and comfort with IT outsourcing service offers
• Proven experience delivering responses for system integration, managed services, Move‑to‑Cloud, and Cloud Managed Services projects
• Familiarity with agile delivery models and participation in international tender responses
• Excellent communication and relational skills
• Rigorous, autonomous, with strong synthesis and writing abilities in a multi‑project, multi‑stakeholder environment
• Proficiency in economic modelling, unit‑work construction, and manipulation
• Commitment to respecting obligations and agreements
• Technical background and project‑management experience in infrastructure implementation is a plus
