Bilingual (Spanish/English) IT Business Analyst – GCP

About

This project focuses on the data migration and transformation to the cloud for International Banking. The mission is to develop and maintain a cloud platform that integrates data from various sources, standardizes processes, and facilitates data publication for consumers and producers, ensuring quality, security, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Demonstrate informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Support one or more highly complex business processes.
• Work on multiple projects as a project team member.
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on technical projects and requirement gathering.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum.
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL, Visio, and Excel.
• Spanish/English mandatory for communication with stakeholders in the Caribbean and Latin America.
• Previous experience in Google Cloud Platform.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Any process certification, such as Six Sigma, IIBA CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
• 2 years of experience with Power BI.
• Experience with requirements management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Assignment Length

This is a 4-month contract with a good possibility of extension.

Assignment Location

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office.
