Your Responsibilities
- You independently conduct analyses in the fields of clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, hemostaseology, molecular biology, autoimmunity, infectious diagnostics, and flow cytometry.
- You independently and responsibly validate produced test results.
- You independently perform calibrations, quality controls, and equipment maintenance.
- You are responsible for ordering and storing consumables and supplies.
- You participate in quality management.
- You assist in the training of apprentices and the onboarding of new employees.
Your Profile
- You have an Austrian-recognized training as a Biomedical Analyst according to the MTD Act (Diploma for the advanced medical-technical service, completed university degree program in Biomedical Analysis, or recognition certificate).
- You are an Austrian citizen or have proof of unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market.
- You have a valid entry in the Health Professions Register according to the Health Professions Register Act.
- You have fluent German language skills.
- You have the ability to maintain a good overview even in challenging situations and possess very good organizational skills.
As part of employment in this professional group, a proof of immunity (vaccination status) for various vaccinations is required. The Wiener Gesundheitsverbund does not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred by providing the proof of immunity.

For employees already employed by the City of Vienna, the remuneration for the advertised position is determined by the job or function evaluation and the corresponding classification in the respective salary system.
For new employees, the starting salary according to the Vienna Civil Servants Act for this position is € 3,817 (40 hours per week, 14 times annually) plus a € 150 hardship allowance 14 times annually. The recognition of professionally relevant or equivalent activities as prior service results in a higher salary.
