About the role

About Us

We are a full service property management company looking for a part-time Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team! Working with our Property Managers, you’ll handle the day to day needs of our Bucks County and Montgomery County, PA clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly individual and/or consolidated financial statements
  • Process A/P and A/R
  • Process deposits (light travel may be required)
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of cash accounts and cash reserves
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Coordinate with Property Managers to ensure that all tenant charges are billed in accordance with applicable leases
  • Review general ledgers to ensure that all expenses are properly classified
  • Assist in compiling information for distribution to external auditors/accountants during reviews, tax return preparation, and annual audit processes.
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with property management/ real estate a plus
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
