Requirements

  • Matric, relevant qualification highly advantageous
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills, good customer skills/team player
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel and Word and working on an accounting system
  • Attention to detail/analytical and ability to adapt with good time management skills
  • An individual who understands the importance of meeting the business’ needs
  • The position requires common sense with the ability to see the bigger picture

Duties

  • Creating and managing all financial processes monthly
  • Update the daily cash book
  • General ledger accounts, ensuring correct allocations
  • Managing detailed reconciliations
  • Manage expense accounts
  • Manage budget requirements
  • Ensure travel budgets are in line with correct costings
  • Assisting with creditor and debtor control tasks
  • Banking and managing petty cash
  • Managing inter-company transfers
  • Processing of journals
  • Phoning and following up on accounts
  • Managing queries
  • General office administration duties

Salary

R negotiable dependent on experience
