We are seeking a skilled professional for a 6-month contract to focus on transmission network security. This role demands deep knowledge of Optical, DWDM, MPLS, and robust encryption technologies. You'll collaborate with various teams to mitigate risks and enhance security architectures effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design security architectures for transmission networks
• Lead hardening efforts on routers, switches, and transport systems
• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Requirements

• Solid understanding of transmission technologies and security
• Experience with IPsec, MACsec, TLS, and PKI systems
• Familiarity with firewalls, ACLs, and network monitoring
• Prior experience in relevant industry
• Relevant security certifications preferred
