About
We are seeking a Brand Marketing & Campaign Manager to support the day-to-day management of small business brand campaigns and marketing initiatives. The candidate will use their knowledge of creative brief writing, advertising development, agency management, production planning/execution, and integrated media and communications planning to deliver upon key business and brand goals.
Location
Chicago (3 days a week choice of days) OR WILMINGTON, DE in office weds and thurs.
Responsibilities
Brand Management
- Maintain a deep understanding of brand purpose, strategy, and guidelines to facilitate effective brand stewardship and cohesion across all go-to-market efforts.
- Understand the business and marketing objectives, championing brand solutions to deliver on business goals.
- Partner closely with business teams to provide strategic and tactical brand, advertising and marketing communications support.
Creative Development
- Manage and support production and implementation of advertising and content tactics across integrated Paid and Owned channels spanning channels such as linear and online video, digital, mobile, social, print, audio, out of home, website, email and direct mail.
- Work closely with agency partners and cross-functional marketing teams including media, social, digital, PR, project management, creative and analytics to drive cohesive creative campaigns.
- Partner with market research team to uncover key consumer insights and test creative ideas.
- Manage paid media trafficking processes.
Compliance/Control
- Ensure legal/compliance/risk and control requirements are met for all campaigns with appropriate approvals obtained.

- Establishes and directs the development and implementation of the brand's marketing plans and budget and long term financial plans to achieve the category's volume, profit and spending objectives.
- Effectively plans to ensure that top line sales goals and bottom line profit goals are met, by overseeing the execution of brand strategies through the Brand Management team, other functional departments, and external vendors, and by recognizing the profitability and revenue impact of all business opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience with demonstrated experience in brand strategy, marketing communications and/or advertising execution; preferably working in or directly with advertising agencies.
- Strong business and marketing acumen with an ability to link strategies to marketing campaigns from concept to execution and deliver results.
- Creative agency management experience - ability to work with and manage agency partners through quick turnarounds and timelines; clearly synthesize and deliver actionable feedback.
- Expertise in video, digital, social creative and stills production and channel best practices.
- Project management and creative/media trafficking experience - ability to juggle multiple workstreams, manage across teams to keep deliverables on track, and keep key stakeholders informed.
- Solutions-oriented self-starter with an eye to the future - drive to solve problems independently, ability to anticipate roadblocks, think beyond immediate next steps to understand evolving project dynamics.
- Trusted collaborator with demonstrated talent in influencing a diverse group of stakeholders; strong team interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and oral communications skills, comfortable presenting to key mid/senior-level stakeholders.
- Highly organized - execute and prioritize brilliantly in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Small business and/or financial services industry experience is a plus.
