About the role
Overall Responsibility
Overall responsibility for all the sales objectives of the individual Brand (Sales and margins). Maintain and grow current customer base and identify revenue opportunities through new business opportunities and securing new markets.
Duties & Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION KPA'S & WORK STANDARDS
- Responsible for formulation and implementation of customer strategies once approved to achieve volumes, margins and share targets at the budget cost and margins for a division or major geographical area.
- Manages the activities of the sales force in a division.
- Manage and ensure that all records are continually updated and maintains individual contact with key customers and management.
- Conceptualize, develop, manage and implement a sales strategy to achieve Brand objectives through accurate forecasting.
- To manage brand sales strategy and ensure a correct product and customer mix to achieve the targeted sales at he required margin.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition – Promise of Excellence – Consumer Satisfaction – Better life
- Stay informed of local and international trends, in terms of product innovation ideas and market trends.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of sales and supply regular forecasts quarterly while keeping top management informed of any potential changes.
- Collaborate and build strategic relationships with all current customers while seeking new ones.
- Initiate new channels and markets to expand and grow the business.
- Recruit, motivate and develop sales managers and sales representatives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
- Diploma / NQF level 6, essential
- MS Office proficient, particularly on MS Outlook, Word and advance Excel
- Min 6 years' relevant working experience
- Experience in the manufacturing environment would be advantageous
