Job Description

The key purpose of this role is to grow the Power and Market share in South Africa of the brands that the team looks after Castle Double Malt within the resource and time constraints available.

Key outputs and responsibilities:

  • Seek opportunities for amplifying the impact and creativity of all brand activities.
  • Provide input to strategy, creative and campaigns in the team.
  • Delivers through the line campaign programmes that keep the brand constantly fresh and deliver against ROI targets.
  • Develops briefs and manages design & execution for through the line programs aligned with the activation platform.
  • Creates budget, reach, ROI analysis and penetration proposals and then measures all aspects before, during and post campaign.
  • Project manages campaign timelines, budgets and quality.
  • Collaborates with outside agencies, Planning, Procurement, Connections Events & Digital Teams, Promotions Specialist, Trade Marketing, EE Teams, and regions as appropriate.
  • Responsible for after action review of campaign post execution.
  • Own identified projects for the in home/ Out of Home drinking occasion that reflect Shopper and Consumer behavior insights to improve consumer experience and brand relevance.

Profile: Education

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication.

Key Attributes and Competencies:

  • Honours degree desirable but not essential.
  • 6+ years of relevant marketing working experience.
  • Good leadership qualities.
  • Good conceptual and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex situations under pressure.
  • Clear, concise communicator.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good commercial ability and understanding of P&L preferred but not essential.
