Purpose of the Role

Assist the BRAND custodian in conceptualizing and executing Product development and Communications through the lifecycle of the Product.

Developing a deep understanding of the current and future customer and their evolving needs and tastes. Input the insights to the Brand Manager to develop the best suited product configurations, USPs, as well as incisive and relevant communication. Keep an extremely close touch with customer feedback about the product by meeting customers, keeping a track of owner groups and blog, managing customer queries online and maintaining ORM. Evolve the optimum media mix suitable for the Target customer and work closely with the Digital and Offline media teams to execute campaigns. Develop and execute creative POS and Sales Toolkits to ensure the field team have all the ammunition to be able to demonstrate, compare and sell the product in the showrooms.

Job Responsibility

  1. Product Development Strategy

    • Support brand manager with insights from Market Research, Industry & Competition, Feature Trends, Competition Pricing & Sales Mix, Competition launch calendar ensuring product is future protected for changes in the competitive environment
  2. Product Launch & GTM Strategy

    • Assist in developing brand positioning & communication strategies
    • Assist BMs in managing the cross functional teams to execute the projects within assigned timelines & budgets
    • Escalate the deviations from launch calendar
    • Suggest risk mitigation & course correction in case of deviations
  3. Developing the Marketing Campaign

    • Coordination with mainline agency for developing the ATL assets & marketing collaterals
    • Analyse the Print/TVC/OOH plans
    • Coordinate with BTL agencies during promotional activities & marketing events
    • Coordinate with digital team for brand content generation
  4. Brand Management

    • Coordinate & collaborate with Market Research team to identify the consumer trends & needs
    • Support BM with activities pertaining to brand building
    • Keep track & analyse the competition brand messaging
    • Track the ORM responses ensuring positive conversations around the brand
  5. Marketing Support

    • To Assist Sales Support sales team developing sales collaterals, Training tools, product comparisons

    • Stakeholder Profiles & Nature of Interactions

    • Internal Regional retail marketing/ sales team: Campaign execution in the field, Sales Toolkits, Customer feedback.

    • Marketing services: Customer Insight, Media planning.

    • Digital Team: ORM, Digital selling tools, Website updation, Digital Marketing.

    • Product line teams: Plan product Interventions

  • Relevant Experience: 3 – 9 Years Marketing and sales
  • Industry: Automobile (2 Wheeler / 4 Wheeler)
