Banking SME & Data Analyst

About

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Banking SME & Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in business analysis, banking domain knowledge, and data analytics, along with hands-on experience working on medium to large-scale Agile projects involving complex integrations across upstream and downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Drive productive discussions through strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Create detailed user stories, process flows, and functional documentation in Agile environments
• Work with integrated applications and cross-functional teams to support end-to-end project delivery
• Query Oracle databases and analyze data using SQL
• Utilize tools such as Postman, Swagger, Jira, Confluence, Mural, and Figma to support project execution and API validation
• Translate complex data findings into meaningful business insights and dashboards for stakeholders

Mandatory Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within the banking industry
• Strong experience working on Agile projects involving integrated systems and enterprise applications
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data analysis
• Hands-on experience with APIs, Oracle databases, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or financial services experience, particularly in wealth management, portfolio management, or client reporting
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and code logic
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical and business decisions
