Responsibilities

• You book manual business transactions, clarify accounts and monitor open items, and maintain master data.
• You carry out internal controls and support the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
• You also actively participate in monthly and annual financial statements.
• You support process and system changes by executing standardized test cases.
• You process interface data and participate in the documentation and maintenance of work instructions.
• You support the execution of dunning and payment runs.
• You also create evaluations to support reporting.
• You are in regular contact with internal departments to clarify accounting matters.
• You also maintain booking rules and account assignments in SAP FS-CD.

Qualifications

• You have completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in sub-ledger accounting or contract account management.
• You have basic knowledge of HGB and experience with ERP systems, especially SAP FS-CD or SAP FI.
• You are proficient in MS Office and are open to new systems and the use of modern AI tools.
• Careful, structured, and reliable work is a matter of course for you.
• You enjoy working in a team and communicate clearly and service-orientedly with internal contacts.
• You have very good German language skills; English skills are an advantage.
