Budget Analyst

In this Budget Analyst role you will support the analysis of budget and accounting reports at DoD contractor sites in Patuxent River, MD and Norfolk, VA. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure budgets align with procedures and regulations, driving accuracy and transparency in financial reporting. Responsibilities

• Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations
• Analyze budgeting and accounting reports

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening
• Ability to perform all functional duties independently, self-starter
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
• Knowledge of FMS financial policies and procedures
