BMS Project Manager

Position Context:

As part of various tertiary and industrial projects, we are looking for a BMS Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of Building Management System projects, from design through to commissioning and client handover.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Analyze specifications and prepare technical and financial proposals
• Participate in the design of BMS technical solutions (PLCs, protocols, supervision systems)
• Oversee project execution: planning, team coordination, and work monitoring
• Manage project costs, issue change orders, and ensure profitability
• Supervise commissioning, system testing, and technical handover

Client Relations & Business Development

• Act as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project
• Identify additional needs and propose scalable solutions
• Support growth of the BMS business in target sectors

Team Management & Coordination

• Supervise technical teams (automation engineers, commissioning technicians, electricians)
• Work closely with design offices, procurement, and project managers
• Review and validate technical deliverables (drawings, as-built documentation, schematics)

Technical Skills Required:

• Solid knowledge of BMS systems and architectures
• Good foundation in HVAC, electrical systems, and industrial automation
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Proficient in BMS software tools (e.g. PcVue, Panorama, Niagara, or similar)

Profile Sought:

• Education: Bac+2 to Bac+5 (e.g., BTS CIRA, DUT GEII, or engineering degree in automation/BMS)
• Experience: 3 to 5 years minimum in BMS project management in tertiary or industrial environments
