About the role

Job Summary

A leadership role responsible for managing and delivering construction projects from initiation through completion. The position focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and overseeing all technical, administrative, and financial aspects of projects. This role plays a critical part in driving project efficiency, stakeholder collaboration, and successful execution of construction initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects across all phases, from planning and design to execution and final delivery.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost control measures, and financial tracking to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage all stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and participate in progress meetings to track performance and resolve issues.
  • Review and validate project documentation, including bids, contracts, invoices, and technical submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project processes, execution strategies, and resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably within general contracting.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycle management, and industry standards.
  • Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software.
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required.
