Exciting Opportunity Alert! HTC Global Services is hiring a Business Analyst – Airline PSS expert for a 1‑year extendable contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite).
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to develop business requirements and scope, systems change proposals, and statements.
- Prepare thorough analysis and documentation of business processes, workflow, and requirements for impacted systems.
- Contribute technical and thought leadership to assist other teams in documenting business requirements; participate in cross‑team business requirement gathering.
- Contribute to planning (PI) to ensure timeframes for development, implementation, and support take account of user needs and technology constraints.
- Manage the requirement backlog.
- Support the development stages, integration, and testing.
- Evaluate product progress at each milestone.
- Act as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Report progress via information radiators, especially PowerPoint or PowerBI.
- Facilitate collaborative activities and team meetings, e.g., discovery workshops, estimations, feature elaboration, release and iteration planning, Scrum‑of‑Scrums, retrospectives, and showcases.
- Own the stakeholder management plan and deliver effective communication (written and verbal) of requirements at various organizational levels, including executive level, ensuring regular progress updates are provided.
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, working in complex, multi‑layered environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience defining business and non‑functional requirements for technology projects.
- Airline domain system knowledge (must have) using Amadeus Altea PSS.
- Enterprise‑level system implementation and integration experience.
- Experience in managing workload with multiple streams.
- Agile knowledge, experience in Agile software development teams, participating in and contributing to Agile ceremonies (preferred).
- Formal BA qualification such as IIBA CCA, CBAP, or AAC is preferred.
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, etc.
