About

The Payment & Fraud product team is in charge of customer purchase experiences across all Ubisoft e-Commerce channels, from the store to in-game purchases, including subscriptions.

Your Role

Integrated into the product team, and more specifically in the fraud part, your missions revolve around 3 pillars:

Analysis and Optimization

• Exploit and interpret volumes of transactional data to identify fraudulent trends and behaviors.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fraud to identify improvement opportunities.
• With other internal teams, you will optimize operational processes related to payments and fraud.
• Provide general assistance to Product Owners in managing their projects, particularly by providing analyses and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Payment & Fraud Specialists to define and achieve precise business results.
• Implement and improve detection techniques to identify fraudulent users.

Monitoring and Investigation

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fraud and detect anomalies in real-time.
• Use monitoring tools to visualize flows and identify suspicious activities.
• React to suspicious payment alerts, investigate transactions, understand player behaviors.
• Contribute to updating dashboards and ensuring the reliability of data used by the team.

Understanding and Modeling Fraud

• Explore e-commerce transaction data to identify significant signals and explanatory factors for chargebacks.
• Build, maintain, and evolve statistical models dedicated to fraud detection.
• Propose reporting solutions and contribute to the industrialization of analyses for reliable and scalable monitoring.

Qualifications

• You are a student in a business school, engineering school, or equivalent training.
• You have a strong capacity for data analysis and interpretation, with particular attention to detail.
• You master Microsoft Excel, have MySQL skills, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in Python is a plus.
• You have an interest in the payment and fraud domains, with a desire to learn and stay informed about the latest trends.
• You have a marked interest in communication and collaboration tools.
• You have good organizational skills allowing you to manage several projects in parallel.
• You have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
• You have good writing skills and a good ability to synthesize information.
• An interest in video games is a real plus!
