Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements
• Translate requirements into detailed user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with Java development teams to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Bridge the gap between business and engineering by communicating in technical language
• Support solution design discussions, including APIs, integrations, and system workflows
• Validate delivered solutions against requirements and support UAT activities

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a technical environment
• Strong experience working with custom Java-based applications
• Proven ability to work closely with developers and understand technical architecture concepts
• Hands-on experience writing user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Developer or in a software development role
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
