About the role
Job Summary
A Business Analyst (BA) acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. They analyze business needs, identify problems, and propose data-driven solutions to improve processes, systems, and overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, product, operations, etc.)
- Create process models, workflows, and business case documents
- Support project planning, testing, and implementation phases
- Validate solutions to ensure they meet business objectives
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN, flowcharts)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in business analysis or similar role
- Certifications like CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or ECBA
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Reports and dashboards

Work Environment
- Typically works in corporate, consulting, or IT environments
