Business Analyst - Banking

Responsibilities

• Elicit analyze and document business requirements through workshops interviews and discussions
• Create and maintain BRDs FRDs user stories use cases and process flows
• Translate business requirements into clear actionable specifications for development teams
• Work closely with Product Owners Project Managers Developers and QA teams
• Support UAT planning and execution including test case review and defect triage
• Perform impact analysis for change requests and enhancements
• Ensure traceability of requirements through to solution delivery
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews and signoffs
• Support production releases and postimplementation reviews

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projects
• Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience with Agile andor Waterfall methodologies
• Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams

Technical Functional Skills

• Experience with User stories acceptance criteria
• Experience with Process modeling BPMN flowcharts
• Experience with Data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA Confluence
• Familiarity with tools such as MS Excel PowerPoint Visio
• Basic understanding of Databases and data flows
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations preferred

Domain Experience Preferred

• Banking Financial Services Insurance
• Payments Regulatory Risk or Compliance systems
• Customer experience or workflow platforms eg Pega Salesforce
