This role is ideal for candidates with approximately 3 or more years of experience in a banking or financial services environment who are looking to deepen their expertise in credit card performance analysis, portfolio management, and financial strategy.
As a Business Analyst, you will partner with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and business development to support decision-making, analyze portfolio trends, and identify growth opportunities within our consumer credit business. Key Responsibilities
• Analyze credit card performance metrics, including acquisition, usage, delinquency, and profitability trends.
• Develop actionable insights to optimize pricing, product features, and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business initiatives, forecasts, and profitability assessments.
• Prepare and automate regular dashboards and management reports highlighting key performance indicators.
• Monitor market trends, credit card industry developments, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Work closely with teams in finance, marketing, risk, and operations to assess business opportunities and streamline processes.
• Support the preparation of investment cases, including opportunity sizing, cost-benefit analysis, DCF and ROI modeling.
• Identify inefficiencies in current reporting and analytical processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in banking, credit cards, or consumer lending.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). SQL or Python experience a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Understanding of credit card P&L drivers, interchange, rewards, charge-off dynamics, and regulatory environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
