Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in planning and executing initiatives by translating business and cyber requirements into actionable deliverables
  • Elicit, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Develop and maintain key artifacts including BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and traceability matrices
  • Maintain project documentation including scope, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints
  • Contribute to risk identification, risk registers, and mitigation planning
  • Manage requirement changes, conduct impact analysis, and support change requests
  • Support Agile/SCRUM delivery by managing backlogs, writing user stories, and contributing to sprint activities
  • Collaborate on project reporting, dashboards, and executive updates
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners
  • Support stakeholder engagement through briefings, presentations, and analysis summaries
  • Participate in solution design discussions to ensure alignment with business and cybersecurity objectives
  • Support testing activities including UAT, validation, and test scenario development
  • Assist with transition-to-operations planning and documentation
  • Provide guidance on business analysis best practices across delivery frameworks

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information security and IT environments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex project settings
  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Proven ability to produce structured analysis artifacts (BRDs, use cases, process flows, etc.)
  • Experience supporting change management, impact analysis, and project documentation
  • Experience working within Agile, SCRUM, waterfall, or hybrid environments
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams

Assets

  • CCBA or CBAP certification
  • SCRUM Master or PMP certification
  • Experience with cloud projects (Microsoft Azure)
  • Knowledge of banking environments or financial services
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
