About the role

Role Overview

Business Analyst supporting the Data Office (CDO function) with a primary focus on Data Privacy & Protection.
The role involves implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and working closely with business, technology, and risk stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Data Privacy & Compliance

  • Support development and maintenance of data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Perform Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
  • Maintain data processing inventory (collection, storage, sharing of personal data)
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations across business functions
  • Identify privacy risks (including third‑party/vendor risks) and recommend mitigations

Governance & Framework Implementation

  • Contribute to Data Office framework execution and governance
  • Ensure proper documentation, controls, and process adherence
  • Support integration of privacy practices across business and technology teams

Training & Awareness

  • Deliver privacy training sessions
  • Promote data privacy awareness and best practices

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business, IT, compliance, and data teams
  • Support senior management reporting and presentations

Must‑Have Requirements

  • 5–7+ years experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong experience in:
    • Data Privacy / Data Governance
    • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
    • Data processing / data inventory documentation
    • Regulatory / compliance environments
  • Strong skills in:
    • Process analysis & documentation
    • Stakeholder management
    • PowerPoint / Excel (data + presentations)

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience in:
    • Data management / data quality frameworks
    • Risk & controls / audit
    • Financial services / banking environment
    • Exposure to data lineage, data dictionary, or governance frameworks
