Role

Business Analyst EMIR and MiFID II Compliance

Responsibilities

• Monitoring relevant regulatory obligations such as EMIR and MiFID II and conduct gap analyses
• Continuously review control framework and update business documentation
• Performing controls as second line of defence
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Responsible for relevant analysis including risk based control framework
• Updating IT systems with the latest regulations
• Reviewing and streamlining processes and conducting user acceptance testing
• Responsible for remediation of identified vulnerabilities
• Point of contact for the business on regulatory compliance issues regarding trading activity
• Responsible for preparing reports for the Senior Management and the Authorities
• Responsible for organising workshops, training, ad hoc meetings and relevant employee briefings

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor
• Experience in transaction compliance and in project management of a bank
• Good understanding of financial market products (e.g. derivatives) and infrastructure regulations
• Sound knowledge of e.g. EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR
• Understanding of technical front-to-back processes of trading
• Analytical skills and ability to complete projects independently and on time
• Team and service orientation
• Ability to lead discussions and negotiate next steps with the project team
• Commitment and motivation
• Fluency in German and English.
