About

Within a large IT department dedicated to Global Markets regulatory initiatives, you will join a team as a Business Analyst for Front Office (trading & sales) conduct monitoring.

The objective: industrialize and deploy globally a new communications monitoring platform, integrating the latest data, NLP, and AI trends, to cover all conduct risks (electronic communications, orders, transactions, etc.). You will work on a highly visible scope, at the intersection of Front Office, Compliance, IT, and Data.

Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements, use cases, and specifications from business sponsors (Front Office, Compliance, Supervision, Management).
  • Write Functional & Technical Specification Documents for each software component of the platform.
  • Review needs with data teams to ensure technical feasibility and proper integration into the platform (Big Data, Elastic, PostgreSQL/Oracle).
  • Design and participate in the implementation of a multi-vector data strategy (communications, orders, transactions) using NLP and Machine Learning techniques.
  • Monitor the development and improvement of solutions (eCom/aComm ingestion scripts, data management processes, supervision workflows).
  • Work with the Project Manager: participate in sprints, prioritize topics, track deliveries, make arbitration decisions.
  • Create acceptance test plans and test scripts, organize and facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Tests), gather business validations.
  • Participate in meetings with internal and external teams, write meeting minutes, track actions and decisions.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple requests in a demanding environment with tight regulatory deadlines.
  • Become the primary point of contact for the 'employee data & communications' scope within the monitoring platform.

Profile

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven 5 years of experience in Business Analysis within a Capital Markets environment (Front Office, Compliance, Ops, IT).
  • Solid IT/Data background; knowledge of Big Data, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL/Oracle concepts is appreciated.
  • Very comfortable with the project lifecycle (requirements gathering, specifications, testing, UAT, production deployment).
  • Mandatory mastery of English.
  • Willingness to travel to Paris and its surroundings.
