What awaits you

• You collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements in the areas of Core Banking, securities trading, account and depot management, payment transactions, and regulatory compliance, ensuring they are clearly, completely, and implementably incorporated into development.
• With your deep understanding of depot and banking business processes, financial architectures, and regulatory requirements (MiFID II, WpHG, GDPR, KYC/AML), you support product and IT teams in designing solutions that are functionally consistent, audit-proof, and future-proof.
• You create well-founded business concepts, user stories, and use cases for complex financial processes – from account opening and securities settlement to asset management and wealth management.
• You identify business and process obstacles early on, clarify ambiguities in interfaces, data flows, or regulations, and ensure that end-to-end processes run smoothly.
• You moderate workshops with stakeholders from business departments, IT, compliance, and auditing, bring different perspectives together, and develop viable solution concepts.
• In close collaboration with developers, testing teams, architects, and operational business departments, you work on viable solutions in agile and hybrid project environments. You use tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
• You support test conception and execution, validate results against business requirements, and ensure the quality of the developed solutions.
• You identify optimization potential in existing business processes and IT systems and actively drive continuous improvements.
• As part of our interdisciplinary team, you are involved in the strategic further development of financial platforms and digital banking ecosystems.

What we expect from you

• Personal Background: You have a degree in (business) informatics, business administration, banking, or a comparable qualification – a good understanding of banking business processes, data flows, and technical contexts in the Financial Services environment is most important.
• Business Analysis Expertise: You have experience in collecting, analyzing, and structuring business requirements – ideally in securities, depot, core banking, payment transactions, or financial platform projects.
• Financial Services Know-how: You have sound knowledge of the banking business and understand the processes and products of leading institutions. You know the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, cooperative banking structures, or private banking business and are aware of their specific characteristics.
• Industry Experience: You are familiar with regulated financial environments and know how compliance, security, and stability requirements influence business and technical solutions. Ideally, you have already worked with regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, EMIR, Basel III/IV, GDPR, or KYC/AML.
• Technical Understanding: You are familiar with data models, interfaces, testing, and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps and can confidently assess technical dependencies.
• Methodological Competence: You are familiar with methods of Requirements Engineering, Business Process Modeling (BPMN), User Story Mapping, and Test Management. Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) is an advantage.
• Passion: You are passionate about clean requirements work, end-to-end processes, and the further development of modern financial and depot landscapes.
• On the road: You are willing to travel and flexible to advise our clients on-site nationwide.
