Role

As part of the transformation of our financial systems and the replacement of the existing financial application, we are seeking a temporary Business Analyst (Financial Systems) (80%) until December 31, 2028.

Your Tasks

  • Analyze existing financial, controlling, and accounting processes and identify optimization potential within digitalization.
  • Collaborate with business departments to define functional requirements and target processes for the new SAP financial solution (FI, FI-AA, CO, and VIM).
  • Play a central role in the project to replace the existing financial application, coordinating functional requirements between business departments, IT, and external implementation partners.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities, moderate workshops, and ensure structured decision-making with all stakeholders.
  • Support solution implementation, ensure requirement quality, and be responsible for testing, acceptance, and technical preparation for go-live.
  • Assist with change management and the introduction of the new solution, participating in training for business departments.
  • Contribute to further digitalization and optimization projects in finance and controlling, ensuring consistency of processes, data, and governance across multiple projects.

Your Profile

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in business analysis or project management, ideally in the context of financial or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of requirements analysis and process modeling methods (e.g., IREB, BABOK, or comparable) is an advantage.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., HERMES, IPMA, or comparable) or participation in complex projects.
  • Analytical and structured working style with a high sense of quality and responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business departments, IT, and external partners.
