About the role
Position Overview
Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support project delivery through the development of structured requirements and comprehensive documentation. This role is critical in ensuring clear scope definition, strong process understanding, requirements traceability, and overall project transparency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Business Analyst responsible for developing structured documentation that supports project governance, requirements clarity, and delivery transparency.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW), project charters, and other scope-defining documents.
- Produce high-quality requirements artifacts, including business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, and functional specifications.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes using workflow diagrams and process documentation.
- Maintain requirements traceability to ensure alignment between business needs, solution design, testing, and final deliverables.
- Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project artifacts such as meeting notes, decision logs, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Maintain organized documentation repositories to support transparency, knowledge sharing, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting end-to-end project delivery.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Experience developing SOWs, project charters, and scope documentation.
- Strong experience creating BRDs, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Experience documenting business processes (current and future state).
- Solid understanding of requirements traceability across the project lifecycle.
- Experience defining acceptance criteria and supporting UAT activities.
- Ability to create and maintain project documentation including meeting summaries and decision logs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing documentation repositories for compliance and audit purposes.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar documentation and workflow tools.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
